The Facts about SG vs LP
All this new Vanessa crap has brought a new infuriating wave of stupidity and closemindedness. I've been bothered for some time by comments from SG models and members about LP and his situation. The public court documents have surfaced, yet so many people remain close-minded and uninformed and blindly accept Sean and Missy's damage control without looking at the facts.
I've heard from multiple sources and models in LA that Sean has been saying that "LP brought this on himself, he broke his contract" and that it's "unfair for him to have his fans paying for his lawsuit". More and more I see these sentiments echoed and repeated by clueless morons like the one below:
I love it how these new girls come along and speak as if they are informed authorities on the subject. She refers to Lithium Picnic as "they"...
"They violated the contract pure and simple" she says. Fuck em!
How does she know? Because Sean said so? Because some SG cheerleader or staff member told her so?

? Does this idiot girl or any of the others like her even know what contract they are referring to when they say "He/They broke THE CONTRACT" with such conviction and certainty?
Do some homework it's interesting stuff.
At the core of this lawsuit is the claim that LP broke his contract with SG by shooting apnea for her site apneatic.com.
SG claims that her site is a competitor to SG. LP's defense has been that his contract had a special provision in it that allowed him to shoot for "single girl personality based sites".
At the core of the matter is this part of his agreement, the section that allowed him to shoot for sites like apneatic.com:
In case you missed the last part "SG Competitor shall not include single girl personality based sites..."
So how did he break his contract? Apneatic is a site based around the personality of one girl. She is present in every photo on the site. Do you still think he broke his contract, Mackenzye?
The matter of whether or not some of the visual themes are similar or dissimilar is a smokescreen and not even relevant, but this appears to be the basis of SG's argument for why apneatic.com is not a valid exception.
SG’s visual themes are general and broad and not unique.
The wording and spirit of the contract provides a list of “types” of sites that are allowed and are not considered competitors.
The first in this list of “types” of sites is “single girl personality based sites”. The list goes on to include other types of allowed sites including “fetish and fine art sites with themes dissimilar to those of SG”.
SG appears to be suggesting that the attributes of this last “type” of site also apply to every previous exception listed in such a way that they all are required to have dissimilar themes.
So what is the laswsuit against him really about? A personal grudge? SG's tactic seems to be to drain their competition with stalling and drawing things out as long and as expensively as they can. It appears they have delayed the LP trial and the trial against Godsgirls appears to have been delayed til the fall as well. Apnea and LP appear to be under some type of gag order since the new lawsuit against Apnea began, but in the last fundraising posts they made online the legal fees to his attorneys alone were over over $25,000.
I'm still amazed seeing people on SG chat bash LP when they have so few facts. If anyone mentions this stuff, they get called down and people refer to him as "the one that shall not be named" it's like fucking Scientology. I think anyone who comments on whether or not he broke his contract without doing some research into the facts is a moron and I'm sick of seeing this pooor guy bashed by blind cheerleaders that accept every word from Sean and Missy's mouth as fact.
